I just officially deferred my enrollment at Kansas and declined the scholarship money.
I knew it was coming. I know I couldn't have afforded to go on the money they were willing to give me. It had to happen this way.
Somehow, I'm still bummed.
Blah.
It just seemed like the right thing. So perfect. And, while there is the potential for some cool stuff to happen in Memphis over the next year, it still seems like Plan B.
If I were a girl, I'd pop open a tub of ice cream and watch a romantic comedy.
As is, I guess I'll start a new Star Wars novel and make homemade cheese in the morning.
Explosions (in space) and cheese fix everything.

I'm sorry; I can understand. I love what you said about the ice cream and chick flick. Garrett asked me earlier if I was feeling alright because I was wearing black and listening to Coldplay. I said yes, when you should be concerned is when I am eating chocolate, watching Pride and Prejudice, and listening to Switchfoot all at once... though I'm not sure how music and movie at the same time works...
I like your idea about the contests! We should definitely try it!
Heh. It's a big decision, but taking a little time off and saving up some money will make going back to school so much easier. You won't be worried about the debt you're racking up.
I would like to see it. Do you have a link to it?
